Lama Sangye Monlam continues his series of Ma Gyud (mother tantra) teachings in Austria that he began in Graz 2011. The topic in 2017 is "bringing wild places into the path" (gnyan sa lam 'khyer), that is, the practice of Chöd. New students are welcome to join. Having participated in Lama Sangye's previous Ma Gyud teachings is not a prerequisite.
As in his previous mother tantra teachings, Lama Sangye will go through the original Ma Gyud root text (Guru Nöntse's terma) with us and comment on it. Lama Sangye teaches in Tibetan and will be skillfully interpreted into English by Dr. Peter Alan Roberts.
Prerequisites: New students are welcome to join - having attended Lama Sangye's previous Ma Gyud teachings is helpful, but not a prerequisite. Beginners should practice at least some Ngöndro before attending Ma Gyud teachings. When in doubt, ask Lama Sangye.
