Volunteering at Yeshe Sal Ling

Opportunities for volunteer work:

All volunteering on site, in Yeshe Sal Ling, in Spring 2020 is suspended because of Covid-19; volunteering for administrative tasks that can be accomplished remotely is gratefully accepted.

In the days before and after teachings and retreats volunteers are needed for cooking and cleaning. See the schedule of teachings.

Lama Sangye Mönlam is in residence at Yeshe Sal Ling during those times and volunteers have the opportunity to meditate and perform rituals with the Lama every day.

In Spring 2019, we are looking for volunteers to help build a stupa.

Volunteers who do administrative work (from home), such as maintaining a database, writing documents, etc., are very welcome, and, in particular, people with bookkeeping skills and computer skills (Unix/Linux , LaTeX), are needed.

Also, volunteers able and willing to do small repair and maintenance jobs, and helpers for gardening, are very welcome.

Accommodation for volunteers in shared rooms will be provided. There are bathrooms and showers with hot and cold running water, Wifi, and central heating in winter. Accommodation for volunteers is free, but there may be a charge of about Euro 10 per day for food. (No charge for volunteers engaged in stupa construction.)

Please volunteer your help. Your work is very much appreciated and, indeed, vital for the functioning of Yeshe Sal Ling, which is a non-profit center depending on the help of volunteers. To volunteer, send email to contact@yeshesalling.org (Sophie).
